Electrifying aurora over an electrical substation, photo by an Lameer, Porjus, Lapland, Sweden - April 2, 2007NOWCAST - A nearly perfect week so far for Clark County Spring Break with no measurable rain in the bucket so far this month. Thursday and Friday will see highs into the 70's and if we get a quick burst of east winds Friday 80 degrees is not out of the question! The Easter weekend looks like a few more clouds but only a small chance of showers at this point. Cooler with highs in the 60's. Enjoy!

BBQ Tax- In some counties of England, tax authority's are considering a carbon tax on outdoor BBQ's due to their emission of pollutants that cause global warming. They will hire helicopters to fly over communities (burning jet fuel and contributing to the mess themselves) to check on unauthorized BBQ's. I tell you, this isn't funny and just wait, if the environmentalists and the politicians have their way, you will be taxed to death. Now, take a deep breath while you can before they tax the air you breathe (out).
