May is on its Way!

NOWCAST - As April rolls out later tonight and May sneaks in under the cover of darkness, clouds and rain will blanket the region as well. Cooler temperatures will dominate the scene with snow falling in all the higher ski areas by Wednesday. Could be clap of thunder and small hail anywhere. This unsettled pattern will remain the rest of the week. At least we had a good weekend weather wise for the end of April despite the periods of clouds that moved inland at times.

OUTCAST - Boy there has certainly be a myriad of varied weather events this past week around the country. Very severe in some areas ranging from dry winds and roaring wildfires, to devastating tornadoes and floods. Late spring snows too. In my little corner of the world here in the Pacific Northwest, all has been rather calm with nothing to write home about.

Gray skies

In case you missed it, the "other" global warming video that the "left" says isn't "right". Watch here.

The other day when the skies were blue, the sun was shining and the birds were singing, I decided to get some gas in my little truck and I had to take a deep breath when the pump ended at $50.00. There was a large motor home next to me and I just had to take a peek after he finished just so I wouldn't drive away under a gray cloud or something. His gas bill to fill that large fish tank was $325.00. I can drive for about two weeks on a tank and I bet that guy in the motor home has to fill up at each stateline he crosses at least. Fun comes at a price.

Peace be with you all.
